RoundButton Uses Background Brush as default Border Brush

Oct 21, 2012 at 1:52 AM

I added some round buttons to a project of mine and noticed that while they looked perfectly fine in the designer, when running the app, all the button borders were slightly greyed out.

I took a look at the default style, and it looks like it uses the PhoneContrastBackgroundBrush as the default brush for the border.  Is there a specific reason for this?  If so, why is there a disconnect between the designer and the actual application?

You can resolve this by manually setting the border brush color, but I think it should be fixed in the code?  Should Imake the change and attempt to submit it, or just open an issue?

that was a long time ago since i created that.  I would suggest creating this as a bug.  I have another one for adjusting the select color as well.  http://coding4fun.codeplex.com/workitem/7876
