MemoryCounter

Over View

MemoryCounter control gives you an easy way to monitor the total memory usage of your application. In order to pass the certification requirement monitoring the memory usage can be vital.


Getting Started

To begin with using MemoryCounter first add a reference to the Coding4Fun.Phone.Controls.dll assembly.

To use the MemoryCounter the XAML you have to add the following namespace declaration:

xmlns:Controls="clr-namespace:Coding4Fun.Phone.Controls;assembly=Coding4Fun.Phone.Controls"

NOTE: You can see the MemoryCounter results only in DEBUG mode!

Using MemoryCounter :

MemoryCounter counter = new MemoryCounter();
this.ContentPanel.Children.Add(counter);

Key Features

MemoryCounter exposes the following properties:
  • UpdateInterval
  • CurrentMemory
  • PeakMemory
