hello,
i use this code for InputPrompt editing
InputPrompt input = new InputPrompt();
            input.Completed += new EventHandler<PopUpEventArgs<string, PopUpResult>>(inputPrompt_Completed);
            input.Title = "Basic Input";
            input.IsAppBarVisible = true;
            input.IsCancelVisible = true;
            input.Message = "I'm a basic input prompt";
            input.VerticalAlignment = VerticalAlignment.Top;
            input.Value = "test";
            input.Show();
it is possibile remove a icon copy?

I don't think it was ever assumed you'd put text in there by default since the prompt will auto pull itself up. Is it you want hint text?

yes text. my InputPrompt is used for add new record and edit exists record.

one option would be to have a property exposed to IsSelectAllOnStartupEnabled defaulted to true or "select all VS end of line"

Note, this isn't something that is planned nor will be done for a while.

It is open source you can do whatever you want as long as you follow the mspl terms. The source depot here is git so you can just fork or pull down the entire tree
